Overview
After completing this course, clinicians will be able to treatment plan and perform basic implant and bone grafting surgeries. The clinician will also be able to recognize anatomical limitations and high-risk cases, and will be able to minimize the potential for complications. A live surgical demonstration will allow experiencing a step-by-step implant surgery performed by the out faculty.

Objectives
This course is geared towards general dentists who are starting to take their steps in implant dentistry. It is designed to provide clinicians with a thorough understanding of basic implant placement techniques and the bone grafting procedures. This course is a combination of in-depth lecture, a hands-on workshop, and live surgical demonstration. Participants will be able to experience and practice different surgical techniques on models. The techniques covered in this course include atraumatic extractions, socket grafting, membranes and implant placement. Each participant will receive a manual that compiles the actual lecture material and relevant literature pertaining to the topics covered in the course. Participants are encouraged to bring in cases (models and radiographs) for consultation with our faculty.
